It was an exciting trip to southern Italy and a rare opportunity to photograph at the Nardò Technical Center, one of the most iconic automotive testing facilities in the world. We captured the vast test tracks and technical environments, along with portraits of key people behind the project.The tracks, engineering precision and the unique light of southern Italy created a powerful setting for the series we photographed for Porsche Engineering.

AUTOMOTIVE DEVELOPMENT SERIES

Photographed on the roads around Almería, this series brings together four vehicles in a single production: the GLE, GLE Coupé, AMG GLE 53 Hybrid 4MATIC+ and GLS. The landscape of southern Spain provided a setting of open roads and shifting terrain, allowing each model to be placed in conditions that reflect both its character and its range. All images were created for the world premiere, building a consistent visual language across an entire vehicle family for global PR communication.

CAR SERIES

Photographed for Porsche on the racetrack, this project focuses on the testing of the PSM Sport mode under real performance conditions. Designed to give ambitious drivers more freedom near the limits of performance, the system allows controlled oversteer while maintaining a subtle safety net in the background. Captured during testing with racing driver Vanina Ickx and Porsche engineers, the images explore the delicate balance between control, performance and driving at the edge.

Inside the Mercedes AMG headquarters in Affalterbach we photographed a series exploring the environments where performance cars are developed. Without people present, the spaces themselves become the subject. Workshops, studios and technical areas reveal a quiet world shaped by precision, craftsmanship and performance.

Shot on the racetrack from evening into the early morning hours, the Mercedes AMG GT Black Series is shown in the environment it was built for. The images explore the car where performance and engineering are pushed to their limits. The transition from daylight to night reveals different facets of its design and character. The result is a visual study of one of AMG’s most uncompromising performance machines.

Flexperience

RENTAL

Photographed for Mercedes Benz, this project visualizes the idea behind Mercedes me Flexperience, a new mobility concept built around flexibility and digital access to vehicles. Through the Mercedes me Flexperience app, customers can select and switch between different Mercedes Benz models depending on their needs, from everyday driving to special occasions. The imagery translates this new approach to mobility into a visual narrative, highlighting freedom of choice and the evolving relationship between people and cars.

Developed as part of the launch communication for the Mercedes-AMG GT, the imagery moved between press material and editorial narrative. Motion, landscape and light were used to position the vehicle within a broader visual context.

AUTOMOTIVE DEVELOPMENT SERIES

At the Porsche Development Center in Weissach we photographed a series documenting the spaces where new vehicles take shape. Occasionally small figures appear within these environments, offering a sense of scale and a glimpse of the people working behind the scenes. The images capture the focused atmosphere that surrounds Porsche’s development culture.

Photographed in Barcelona at Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG was placed where architecture, reflection and open space became part of the visual composition. The setting allowed the vehicle to appear less as an object of speed and more as a sculptural presence within its surroundings.

These images were photographed during a road trip through the Swiss Alps together with two friends who are AMG owners. Winding mountain roads and snow covered landscapes created the perfect setting to experience the cars in their natural environment. The photographs capture the spirit of the journey, combining performance, friendship and the freedom of driving through one of Europe’s most spectacular landscapes.

Shot in the Austrian Alps, this campaign places the Mercedes V‑Class in a setting defined by openness and family connection. The images balance scale and intimacy, showing movement within a quiet landscape. Natural light and composition emphasize the idea of travel as shared experience, turning the car into part of the surrounding space rather than its center.

CAMPAIGN

Photographed in Weissach, this project centers on the legendary Porsche 917, one of the most iconic racing cars ever built. Captured at Porsche’s historic skidpad, where generations of racing cars were tested and refined, the photographs also document the rare moment when a journalist was given the opportunity to drive the 917, accompanied by Porsche works driver Marc Lieb, who introduced him to the car and its unique character.

Photographed at Bauhaus Dessau, the classic Mercedes-Benz W116 was placed within one of modernism’s most iconic architectural settings. The dialogue between geometry, light and proportion allowed both car and building to unfold within a shared visual language.

COMMUNICATIONS

Made for the world premiere of the Mercedes-AMG S63, this series was created during a single night with five hours of access to a closed tunnel. Within that window, the full production had to be built and dismantled, rigging attached and removed, lighting set up and struck, all while sharing the space with a film crew operating a U-crane. What the images carry from that night is a sense of focused intensity, a portrait of performance observed at the precise moment between stillness and speed.
